Burglars struck at the house of Prime Minister's media advisor Harish Khare and decamp with his Ford Fiesta car along with his laptop and mobile phone on Tuesday night in Mall Road area of north Delhi.

Police sources said the burglars struck when the family was sleeping and the matter was reported to police on Wednesday morning.
The car was parked outside his Alipur Road residence.
Police suspect that there might be some sensitive information in Khare's laptop and five teams have been formed to catch burglars.
Confirming the incident, Deputy commissioner of police (north) IB Rani said, "The laptop was kept inside the room and car was parked outside. Khare's family got to know about the incident in the morning."
A case of burglary has been registered at the Civil Lines police station. Police sources said there were two burglars who entered the house after midnight. "There was a CCTV camera installed in a nearby bank and we are scanning the footage. It appears two persons were roaming outside his house," said a senior police officer requesting anonymity.
