Businessman found murdered in Kirti Nagar
A 44-year-old businessman was found murdered at his Kirti Nagar residence in west Delhi on Monday afternoon.
A 44-year-old businessman was found murdered at his Kirti Nagar residence in west Delhi on Monday afternoon.
The police said the man, identified as Narendra Kumar Narang, who was living alone had probably been killed two days ago as his body had decomposed.
The neighbours informed the police after noticing foul smell coming from Narang’s room, the door of which was broken open.
"His body was lying on the bed. Initial investigation suggests that he was strangulated to death," said a senior police officer requesting anonymity.
Narang was last seen on Friday by his brother-in-law. "We are taking statements of his relatives and neighbour," the officer added. The police said the entry to the flat was friendly and robbery was not the motive behind the murder. “The house was not ransacked,” the officer added.
