Candidates, voters to discuss Noida’s true potential

Mahesh Sharma (BJP), Om Dutt Sharma (BSP), VS Chauhan (Congress) and Sunil Choudhary (SP) will interact with a gathering at HT’s ‘Noida First’ conclave starting at 3.30pm at Army Public School in Noida on Monday.

There is a change in the political atmosphere as candidates of this seat are, for the first time, talking of urban issues. Till the last assembly elections, this township had been part of the Dadri segment, allowing rural voters to choose its MLAs. The new seat comprises urban areas of Noida, some trans-Hindon pockets and Indirapuram areas.

Noida has arrived and deserves world-class infrastructure, a throbbing cultural scene and a voice to call its own. The conclave will discuss important issues and set the agenda for Noida to turn into a world-class city.
