BJP on Saturday termed the alleged 'cash-for-votes' scandal CD released by Bhartiya Jan Shakti leader Uma Bharati to be the handiwork of the "Congress-SP dirty trick department".

"The attempt to defame BJP by the dirty trick department of Congress-SP unholy alliance has failed miserably. Everybody suspects that the ill-conceived fake CD seems to be handiwork of this department," party spokesperson Prakash Javadekar said in New Delhi.
The director of the "fake CD" is Congress, the producer is SP leader Amar Singh and distributor is Uma Bharti, he claimed.
"The role of Amar Singh in luring away MPs from various parties has been accepted by himself in an interview to a national fortnightly," he said.
"It is now been proved with the hoardings (congratulating BJP MPs for not abstaining) in the CD that the fake film was filmed after the trust vote," he added.
BJP is confident that in this battle truth will emerge victorious and nefarious designs of Congress-SP alliance will be defeated, Javadekar added.
