Sudha Jain, 55, was alone at her Vivek Vihar house when the robbers walked in as the doors were open. They held the woman at gunpoint and asked for the keys to an almirah.

"They ransacked the house and decamped with Rs 195,000 cash and jewellery worth Rs 150,000," said a police official.

House owner Ravinder Jain and son were at their jewellery shop in Nirman Vihar while daughter-in-law had gone to her relative's house.

Sudha raised the alarm after the assailants escaped. She called up her husband, who then informed the police.

The police said they are suspecting an insider's hand in the incident.
