The UPA government seems to be not sure about passing two anti-graft bills - the judicial accountability bill and the whistleblowers bill - in this session of Parliament, although both were cleared in Tuesday's cabinet meeting.

In the business advisory committee meeting on Thursday, these two bills were not discussed, as a top Congress floor-manager in the House told HT: "It looks difficult as we don't have much time." The winter session will end next week.
The Centre has listed the Copyright (Amendment) Bill, the Regulation of Factor (Assignment of Receivables) Bill, the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences Bill, Commercial Division of Banks Bill and the Exim Bank (Amendment) Bill in the next week's agenda.
The contentious pension fund bill, too, has so far not found place in the last week's Lok Sabha list. The Centre, however, can amend its agenda at a later stage to bring in other bills.
