The incident took place around 4.15pm on Thursday at Kohat Enclave Metro Station on Rithala line.

The constable profiled her and found her gesture suspicious. On pretext of vomiting, the lady tried to enter the platform area quickly. After that she made an attempt to jump on the track in front of a running train, said a CISF official.

"Her attempt remained abortive as the constable pulled her away," he added.

Delhi Metro Rail Police was called and she was taken to the station controller where she was handed over for further action.
