Civic bodies to give Rs 51 lakh to Olympian Sushil

The three municipal corporations of the city will be felicitating Olympic silver medalist Sushil Kumar with Rs 51 lakh at the Talkatora Indoor Stadium on Monday. The function has been aimed to acknowledge the achievement of the wrestler who represents Delhi.

The three municipal corporations of the city will be felicitating Olympic silver medalist Sushil Kumar with Rs 51 lakh at the Talkatora Indoor Stadium on Monday.
The function has been aimed to acknowledge the achievement of the wrestler who represents Delhi.

The original plan also aimed at including Unmukt Chand, captain of world cup under 18 cricket team in the function but due to his trip abroad, his name was cancelled.

Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit had announced a reward of R2 crore for the grappler, who hails from Delhi.
