CM’s order to civic agencies

Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit has directed the civic bodies to clear debris and such construction waste so that they do not clog drains during the monsoon.

Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit has directed the civic bodies to clear debris and such construction waste so that they do not clog drains during the monsoon.

Water logging in several parts of the Capital is attributed to wanton dumping of construction waste, which are not
timely taken care of by the civic agencies.

Chairing a meeting to take stock of preparations for the monsoon, Dikshit told MCD, NDMC and district administrations to ensure proper coordination for removing the debris and construction wastes.
