Congress spokesperson Rashid Alvi has lodged a complaint with the Delhi Police in connection with some threat calls that he had been receiving from a particular number on his mobile phone since last week.

In his complaint to police commissioner BK Gupta, Alvi said the unknown caller used foul language. Gupta has assigned a special commissioner-level officer to look into the matter. “We have received the complaint and investigation has already been initiated into the matter,” he said.
