Police said they received a call in the afternoon that Vaibhav Arora, a lawyer of Model Town Phase I, New Delhi, had been abducted by some youth from the Faridabad court premises.

“We rushed to the spot and started a massive search operation to ascertain the whereabouts of the person and the kidnappers,” SHO Sector 7 Ram Pal said, adding, “However, we later came to know that the group of three persons who had forcibly bundled Arora into the car had thrown him out of the car near Apollo hospital in New Delhi.”

“We have received a written complaint from the victim detailing today’s incident,” the SHO said. He also said, “The kidnappers have not taken any money from the victim. The victim has reached his Delhi home safe and sound.”

“We are investigating the matter and efforts on to nab the kidnappers,” he said.

“The motive is also being investigated,” Ram Pal said.
