Court glare on jail official
A Patiala jail superintendent has been ordered by a Delhi court to explain his repeated failure to produce before it a couple, wanted for their trial here in a cheating and forgery case but who had been earlier remanded in Punjab police custody for probe into a case lodged there.

A Patiala jail superintendent has been ordered by a Delhi court to explain his repeated failure to produce before it a couple, wanted for their trial here in a cheating and forgery case but who had been earlier remanded in Punjab police custody for probe into a case lodged there.
Chief metropolitan magistrate Vidya Parkash issued show-cause notice to the superintendent of Patiala Jail, where accused Vipin Sharma and his wife Honey Sharma are lodged.
“Issue show cause notice to the concerned Jail Superintendent, Patiala Jail, Punjab...” said the CMM, issuing notice to the jail superintendent Honey and Vipin. PTI
