At a meeting attended by all Cabinet Ministers besides top officials of various departments, Dikshit said as there is very little time left for the Commonwealth Games, everybody must pull up their socks to complete the projects.

Dikshit apparently criticised several departments for delay in implementation of certain projects despite having full financial resources.

“We reviewed implementation of various projects in the run up to the Commonwealth Games and I asked all the senior officials and my Cabinet colleagues to regularly monitor progress of the projects,” Dikshit told reporters after the meeting.

Senior officials of power department, Delhi Jal Board, PWD and MCD were present in the meeting. The meeting is understood to have discussed the security aspect of the event.
