The city finally got a break from the grip of dense fog and low temperatures on Wednesday as visibility improved and only shallow fog was reported.

The city was enveloped in dense fog for 15 days in a row till Tuesday morning, hitting road, rail and air transport.
The relief, however, may be short lived. According to the weatherman, the fog is expected to return on Thursday morning and a more permanent relief is expected only after Saturday.
On Wednesday, the minimum temperature was recorded as 9 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year and up from 6.8 degrees Celsius recorded on Tuesday morning.
The maximum temperature is expected to be around 21 degrees Celsius during the day.
The temperature over the next four days is expected to be in the range of 23 degrees and 9 degrees Celsius.
