Twelve persons were injured in a pile up of 15 vehicles after a car rammed into a stationary Dumper (truck) due to thick fog on the Noida – Greater Noida Expressway on Saturday morning.

According to UP police, the accident took place near Nalgarha at about 8.45 a.m due to poor visibility.
The driver of the Scorpio car could not notice the stationary truck and rammed into it,
followed by several other vehicles, the police said.
“Despite having switched on the anti-fog lights, I could not see beyond a couple of feet and my car dashed into another car ahead,” said Mohit Kumar, one of the victims who works for an IT company in Noida.
“I heard a loud thud and by the time I could react, my car too rammed into the vehicle ahead,” said Ashish Kumar, who works for a multi national company.
