With investigating agencies looking into the accounts of various departments that executed projects related to the Commonwealth Games, Delhi chief secretary on Thursday asked the department heads to keep records of all projects ready for investigations.

Sources said the chief secretary has asked the department heads to separately keep the accounts of projects that were directly linked to the Commonwealth Games.

"We have also been told to prepare separate sheets of the initial cost of each project, the revised cost of projects and also the file noting on the variation of the cost," said a senior public works department official.

Six teams from the office of the Comptroller and Accounts General (CAG) are reportedly looking into the records and accounts of various departments of the Delhi government. Transport, public works department, tourism, environment, urban development and power reportedly are the departments that are under the CAG scanner.

The chief secretary also briefed the officials about the procedures that are required to be followed while extending support to the probe agencies.
