Delhi Public School, Ghaziabad, celebrated its 30th Annual Day. Principal Rita Kapur welcomed the chief guest Salman Khurshid, union minister of state, corporate affairs, minority affairs. The school's annual report was read by the senior students. Students presented a Cultural Fiesta 'Ananta - A timeless Odyssey' of India visualising its timeless cultural ethos, its impeccable legacy of History and its enviable repertoire of awesome geographical diversity. The celebrations included various song and dance performances. An exhibition displaying the art and craft items prepared by the students was also held.
Mayur Public School, IP Extension, celebrated its annual function, 'Sanskar', highlighting the degraded community that has taken birth due to erosion of moral values in the coming generations. The highlight of the evening was the ballet 'Sanskar' that manifested the importance of long forgotten virtues which used to be essence of a man's life in the days of yore. A play depicting a corrupt social system along with a solution to curb and a musical show, 'Amassing wealth ignoring health', was also presented. Chief guest Sandeep Dikshit gave away the prizes and appreciated the performance of the students in academics as well as in sports. Principal S Rawat gave the vote of thanks.

The highlight of the event was a presentation, 'Charlie and The Chocolate Factory', an adaptation of Roald Dahl's book. This unique production, directed by Madhu Sagar, provided the platform where the students showcased their talent. This was followed by the prize distribution.
