Presiding over a meeting of Flood Control Apex Committee, Dikshit told officials of various agencies including PWD, MCD, NDMC and flood control department, to take all necessary, measures to overcome any water-logging.
The meeting was attended by the revenue minister AK Walia, PWD minister Raj Kumar Chauhan, labour minister Ramakant Goswami, women and child development minister Kiran Walia and top officials of various agencies.
Representatives of Delhi Police, home guards and civil defence, food and supplies department, army and power discoms, were also present.
Dikshit directed all agencies to gear up their machinery to meet any eventuality.
