Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal Tuesday alleged that electronic voting machines (EVMs) were being tampered with to favour Bharatiya Janata Party in the February 7 assembly election.

Kejriwal claimed that it was found during an inspection of four such machines at Delhi Cantonment area on Monday. He alleged that whatever button was pressed on the machines, the light against the BJP symbol lit up.
"Large scale EVM tampering? Yest (yesterday), during inspection of EVMs in Del cant (Delhi Cantt), in 4 machines, whatever button u pressed, light against BJP lit," he said in
a tweet.
He, however, did not explain where the inspection of the EVMs was carried out. Official sources said that inspection of EVMs are carried out and at times public representatives are also taken along for random checking of the machines.
