Fancy the Taj in your living room? 3D's here!
Ever fancied bringing red poppies, sturdy bamboo, the Eiffel Tower or, for matter, the Taj Mahal onto your living space walls? French company Plage promises you just that with its 3D motifs it has introduced in India.
"This is a completely new experience for the Indian market and the response from the people has been overwhelming in a very short time," Benoit Challan Belval, Plage's India manager, told reporters in New Delhi on Monday.
"Our 3D motifs appear so natural that it makes this our USP," he added.
The motifs effectively come in the form of wallpaper and are applied similarly on the do-it-yourself (DIY) concept to enable homeowners enhance their living spaces with minimal effort.
They can be applied directly on walls, floors or ceilings - depending on one's personal choices.
The motifs are available in an array of colours and refreshingly beautiful designs, moving from nature to an old-fashioned black lamppost, to golden statues.
The Taj Mahal motif will be a while in the coming as the company first surveys the market demand for it.
"We are in the process of experimentation. Initially, we are understanding the Indian market and then we will come up with Indian motifs," Belval said.
Plage has an in-house designer team that dreams up the unique motives - and even customises them.
"Our designers work hard and come up with ideas that are appealing and will look good on walls. We believe that beauty is universal, so everything is beautiful," Belval commented.
