Fire in Delhi building, none injured

A fire broke out in a building near Connaught Place in central Delhi on Sunday afternoon, an official said. However, no one was injured.

A fire broke out in a building near Connaught Place in central Delhi on Sunday afternoon, an official said. However, no one was injured.

"The machinery in the lift room in the Sanchar Bhavan building caught fire at around noon. We rushed five fire tenders to the spot," a fire department official said.

No one was however injured, he said.

"The fire was soon doused," the official added.
