The 28-year-old former CRPF personnel, Ravinder Kumar, was arrested near south Delhi’s Issapur village after a tip-off while travelling in a car with associates Satish Kumar, Jitender, and Anil, all in their 20s.

“Six highly sophisticated weapons have been recovered from their possession,” said Anil Kumar Ojha, additional CP (southwest). On the instance of those arrested, Vinod Kumar and Raju were also held from Issapur village.

“The accused would procure weapons from Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut,” said Ojha.
