Kamat is expected to meet Congress president Sonia Gandhi and other senior party leaders to find a way out of the political crisis in the coastal state.

"God will save my government," Kamat told PTI.

Senior NCP leaders Praful Patel and D P Tripathi, who returned from Goa in the wee hours on Friday, are also discussing the situation in the state within the party.

The seven-month-old Digamabar Kamat ministry was reduced to a minority with its alliance partner NCP and an independent legislator Vishwajit Rane withdrawing support.
