The call turned out to be a hoax but the real twist was a note in the box of sweets found in the bus that claimed the Aarushi Talwar murder case will be cracked soon. This was when the CBI was at the Talwar residence in Hauz Khas to arrest Nupur.

The drama began at 10pm on Wednesday. A man called the control room from a landline number, claiming a low-floor DTC bus had a bomb on it. The caller claimed the bomb was in a bus on route number 894, plying between New Delhi railway station and Okhla.

“Within minutes, a team of bomb detection with sniffer dogs reached Paharganj area and spotted the bus. The passengers in the bus were immediately evacuated. The team found a box of sweets, some pieces of electric wires and a paper,” the police officer said.
