Patil's slip of tongue left the BSF Director General and the audience awestruck. But during his 20-minute speech, Patil consistently referred to him as "Mishra Ji" not once or twice but four times.

However, later, while he was concluding his speech, a quiet word from the dais made him set the record straight and the BSF chief was correctly named in the end.
