“The pothole is right in the middle of the road and slows down traffic. Recently, a biker fell off after bumping into it,” said Randhir Kumar, who sells shoes.

Even smaller roads have now become a cause of worry for the traders.

And the nearby market of Green Park extension near Uphaar cinema also suffers a similar fate. Here too, roads are broken.

“We have been requesting the area councillor as well as the MLA to get this road repaired for many years now, but so far no one has done anything,” said RC Gambhir, general secretary of Green Park extension market.
