Nalsar University of Law, Hyderabad has won the fifth K.K. Luthra Memorial Moot Court Competition, 2009 organised by the Campus Law Centre of Delhi University.

Justice Cyriac Joseph of the Supreme Court gave away the prize at a ceremony at Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, on Sunday.
Nalsar University, Bhopal, came second in the competition, the only exclusive criminal law Moot Court held at the national level in India. Delhi University could only reach the quarterfinals.
This year's topics for the moot court focused on the Extradition Act, 1962, declaration of funds and principles of criminal procedure.
Forty-seven institutions from across India took part in the three-day event, which witnessed its debut international participation from South Korea. The three-member team from South Korea was competing with teams from various law schools in the country.
