India will make a strong bid for its membership in the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG), in an outreach meeting with important embers of the group in Vienna on Thursday.
Foreign secretary Ranjan Mathai will lead the Indian delegation in the meet. "Foreign secretary will head the Indian delegation for outreach meeting with the NSG Troika in Vienna on 1st March 2012. This is part of regular outreach meetings between India and the NSG", the ministry said.
