Indian Parliamentary Delegation calls on Austrian Prez

An Indian Parliamentary Delegation led by Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar, on a visit to Austria, on Thursday called on the Austrian President and other senior officials and held discussions on matters of international and bilateral importance.

The delegation met Austrian President Heinz Fischer, National Council Speaker Barbara Prammer, and Federal Minister for European and International Affairs Michael Spindelegger.

“The delegation had detailed discussions with the foreign Affairs Committee of Austrian National Council and members of the Bilateral Parliamentary Group, Austria-India Parliament.

The delegation also visited Salzburg where it met second President of the Salzburg Parliament, Gudrun Mosler Tornstrom.

The Indian delegation include Anant Kumar Hedge, Rajkumari Ratna Singh, S M Sudarsana Natchiappan, Usha Verma, Paramjit Kaur Gulshan and Prabhat Jha.
