A Delhi court, on Monday, extended judicial custody of an alleged chief arms procurer of insurgent group National Socialist Council of Nagalim (Isak-Muivah). The accused will be in custody till November 22.

The court order came on an application moved by the special prosecutor of the National Investigation Agency (NIA), seeking extension the accused Anthony Shimray’s judicial custody. He was arrested in Patna on October 2.
Earlier, the premier probe agency, that had quizzed Shimray, had submitted that he be sent to judicial custody as his interrogation was over.
The agency, however, did not disclose the outcome of the
custodial interrogation in the court, citing sensitive nature of the case. NIA, in its FIR, has accused Shimray, a key figure of National Socialist Council of Nagalim (Isak-Muivah), of conspiring with arms dealers.
