Jundal aided cops in putting faces to names

During his month-long custody, Jundal helped the Delhi Police create facial sketches of the men who were only known by their 'operational aliases' - Major Samir Ali, Abu Al Qama, Abu Hamza - and have figured in the disclosure statements made by several terror suspects after the 2001 Parliament attack.

"In all, sketches of more than half-a-dozen Pakistan-based commanders of the LeT have been created; especially of those who occupy the top brass of the organisation and were present in the control room during 26/11," said a senior officer.

According to Jundal's disclosure to the Special Cell, he was with five other men - Al Kafa, Al Kama, Abu Zarar, Khaled and Muzammil - as he gave instructions to the 10 terrorists in Mumbai during the 26/11 attacks.

Meanwhile, a city court on Friday handed over Jundal's custody to the Mumbai Anti-Terrorism Squad, after almost a month of questioning him.
