This is the advice given by Delhi Police to women during an awareness programme held in south Delhi's Ghitorni village on Saturday.

Another advice was that no woman should tolerate misbehavior and eve-teasing and should report the matter immediately to the police.

"During evening and night, girls should board buses or autos from the bus stops where two-three people are present. They should not be dropped at isolated places near their
houses.

"Every woman must keep pepper sprays in her purse to use it in case anyone tries to misbehave or tease her. In case of eve-teasing, women should not surrender. Rather she should react so that culprit can be arrested," Chhaya Sharma, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South), said.

A street play by students of Kamla Nehru College was also organised to sensitise women to handle any unforeseen situation as well to improve community policing.
