The ceremony was presided over by Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Jyotiraditya Scindia who presented the gold and silver medals to Afghanistan and Thailand, respectively, in the foreign pavilion category.

Kerala received the gold and Chhattisgarh bagged the silver, while the Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep received the gold and silver, respectively, in the 'Union Territories Pavilions' category.

Assam was awarded the gold medal among North Eastern State Pavilions.

Scindia complimented the ITPO for organising the annual fair on such a large scale.

“It is an iconic event among international trade fairs, and has carved a niche for itself as one of the largest in terms of visitors' participation,” he said.

Rajiv Yadav, Executive Director, ITPO, said, “The fair received an overwhelming response from everyone.”
