This is the time students tend to get really nervous.

Experts say, students should not start anything new and only revise portions they have already studied a few times.

“Students should maintain their goal and remain balanced. They should just concentrate on whatever they have learnt to date and revise them,” said L.V. Sehgal, principal, Bal Bharati Public School, Ganga Ram Marg.

On the tendency to over-revise he said, “Instead of doing repetitive revision, it is better to just focus on the weak areas. Students should not keep on revising the same thing again and again. It’s better to revise portions where they feel that they have doubts.”

Ankita Sharma, a Class 12 student of Ahlcon Public School, Mayur Vihar Phase 1 said, “My first priority is to revise those important questions which are marked by our teachers in the NCERT book. In case of theory subjects, I will go through the notes which I have kept specially for the last days study only.”

Taking a break in between your lessons also helps.

“I take a break for 15 minutes after every 45 minutes in order to fresh up my mind,” said Apurva Saxena, class 10 student of Universal Public School, Preet Vihar.

Generally, students spend a lot of time in attending tuitions and are left with little time for their self-study.

“Sometimes tutors do give some last minute tips to the students which are useful so they should attend the classes whenever necessary. But it would be better if they devote

the last 3-4 days before the exams in their self-assessment,” Sehgal added.

Mrs. Mohini Bindra, Principal, Ramjas School Pusa Road said it is extremely important to remain clam to do well in the examinations.
