The Delhi government has launched a drive against polluting vehicles coming to the Capital from other states.

Lieutenant-governor Tejendra Khanna said the benefits achieved by turning a diesel-run public transport system into a CNG-run one had been reduced by the rise in the number of vehicles and subsequently vehicular pollution. He appealed to the residents of Delhi to get the fitness and emission levels of their vehicles checked.
