Make Jai Hind a must

Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha, an organisation of retired army personnel, has demanded that 'Jai Hind' be made a compulsory mutual felicitation in public places and all sepoys below the officer's rank be sanctioned 'One Rank One Pension' immediately.

"Army has made Jai Hind a compulsory customary greeting. Saying Jai Hind by all will help uniting India," said Col Tejandra Pal Tyagi, Sanstha's national president. One Rank One Pension for sepoys is necessary as they are in the forefront of controlling aggression as well as helping in calamities, he said.

The demands were on made on Sunday at Jantar Mantar during a daylong dharna.
