A man bled to death after being stabbed on one of the main roads in Ambedkar Nagar on Tuesday night. The accused has been arrested.

The victim Ram Avtar (21) was drinking with his friend Nitin Kumar (20). “Both got into a fight following which Kumar attacked him and fled from the spot,” said a police officer.

According to the police, the victim was stabbed in the thigh but nobody came to his aid as he lay there bleeding. “A beat constable found his body on a busy road in a pool of blood,” the officer said.
