Three camps have been set up at the exit gates of New Delhi Railway Station, Old Delhi Railway Station and Kashmiri Gate.
“These camps are providing food, water, medicine and all other basic facilities to people coming from Bihar. Many of them don't even have money and the MCD is trying to help in every little way possible,” said MCD spokesman Deep Mathur.
The civic body said more 2,000 people have used the facilities at the camps. The camps will continue to function till the condition in Bihar becomes normal.
Mayor Arti Mehra had recently said MCD would send its teams of doctors, public health workers and sanitation staff to assist the Bihar administration in relief operations.
Relief collection centres were also set up in many parts of the city.
