Minor sisters sedated, raped by neighbours in Ghaziabad’s Khoda

Two minor sisters were allegedly gang-raped by their neighbour and his three friends in Khoda area of Ghaziabad on Wednesday.

The Indirapuram police arrested all four accused in the case on Friday.

According to the father of the victims, his four daughters on Wednesday went to school in Kondli area of bordering Delhi. When his daughters were on their way back home, Nafees, who lives in their neighbourhood, along with his three friends stopped them and offered a glass of fruit juice laced with sedatives.

After drinking the juice, the girls became unconscious. The accused took them to a flat, where they took two of the girls to a separate room and raped them.

The father told the police that the matter came to light when a man in his neighbourhood saw two of his daughters crying on the road side.

The other two daughters reached home late in the night and told their family what had happened.

The family alleged that initially the police refused to register the complaint.

A complaint was registered after the matter was reported to senior police officials.

Police said that an FIR under IPC section 376 had been registered and the main accused Nafees along with his associates were arrested. The medical reports of the victims are awaited.
