Modi shouldn't be talked of as future PM: Nitish

The Bharatiya Janata party should not have projected Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as a future prime ministerial candidate, Nitish Kumar said today. "Once (LK) Advani was named as the prime ministerial candidate, there should have been no talk of any other candidate," Nitish Kumar told the television channel Headlines Today.

"Advani is the declared candidate (of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance) for prime ministership," he maintained.

The Janata Dal-United (JD-U) leader also ruled out that he was a contender for the country's top post. "I do not find myself competent enough to become the prime minister," he said.
