Morarji Desai remembered on birth anniversary

Leader of Opposition Sushma Swaraj and NDA Working Chairman L K Advani along with several MPs paid tributes to former Prime Minister Morarji Desai on his 105th birth anniversary today.

Leader of Opposition Sushma Swaraj and NDA Working Chairman LK Advani along with several MPs paid tribute to former Prime Minister Morarji Desai on his 105th birth anniversary on Sunday.

Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Prithviraj Chavan and Members of Parliament offered floral tributes to the portrait of Desai in the Central Hall of Parliament.

A booklet containing the profile of Desai, brought out by the Lok Sabha Secretariat, was presented to the dignitaries who attended the function.

The portrait of Desai was unveiled by then President Shankar Dayal Sharma on December 15, 1995.
