Delhiites will continue to enjoy respite from scorching heat on Thursday with meteorological officials predicting thundershowers leading to a fall in temperature.

The national capital recorded a minimum temperature of 28.1 degrees Celsius Thursday, a notch below the average for this time of the year.
"Skies will mainly be cloudy with possibility of rain and thundershowers during the day. The rain due to the cyclonic circulation over west Rajasthan will bring down the day temperature by two to three degrees," an official at Safdarjung meteorological department told IANS.
Mid-day showers Wednesday brought some respite to the residents of Delhi from sweltering heat. The capital recorded 2.0 mm of rainfall.
However, the rainfall increased the humidity level to 61 percent.
The met department has forecast a maximum temperature of around 39 degree Celsius Thursday.
The maximum temperature recorded Wednesday was 41.6 degrees Celsius, which was two notches above normal.
