My yatra continues: Advani

Speaking at a function at his residence to mark sankranti where a documentary made by his daughter, Pratibha, was screened, Advani said he was hoping the best for the BJP and “a new beginning would be made just as sankranti festival signifies a new beginning.”

Advani, who is now the chairman of the BJP parliamentary party, said there were some shortcomings not because of the BJP’s adversaries, but problems within.

“Everybody feels bad about this... A strong opposition is also the need of the country and for proper functioning of democracy.”
