If you are one of those who prefer to drive to the Metro station and park the car there as you go about your business, you might want to rethink that strategy.

It is official, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has revised its parking fees and come March, parking your car in authorised DMRC parking will be an expensive affair.
HT was the first to report the proposed revision on Friday.
DMRC spokesperson Anuj Dayal said the hike was “in accordance with the proposed hike in parking rates by different civic agencies in Delhi”.
Henceforth, car-owners will have to pay Rs. 20 instead of Rs. 10 for the first six hours, Rs. 30 instead of Rs. 15 for up to 12 hours and Rs. 40 instead of Rs. 25 for more than 12 hours. Monthly charges for parking cars have been increased from the existing Rs. 625 to Rs. 1000. Two and three-wheelers will have to pay Rs. 475 instead of Rs. 300.
Daily night parking charges of all vehicles remain unchanged, but monthly night charges have been revised.
