The Commonwealth Games Organising Committee on Saturday thanked the people of Delhi for helping to organise the "best Games ever".

The Commonwealth Games Organising Committee today thanked the people of Delhi for helping to organise the "best Games ever".

"A sincere thanks to all athletes, stakeholders, sponsors, volunteers and above all the people of Delhi and India for helping us organise the best games ever," said an Organising Committee statement.

"The Committee extends heartfelt gratitude and thanks to everyone who gave us the chance to do India proud," it said.
