Delhi Metro will be implementing revised parking charges for all Metro stations from September 8. The revision will take place in accordance with the prevalent parking rates in the MCD and the NDMC authorised parking areas in the city.

The monthly parking fee for cars will go up to Rs 625 from Rs 500, while that for motorcycles, scooters and autorickshaws will go up to Rs 300 from Rs 250. Cyclists will have to pay a monthly charge of Rs 30, the current being Rs 20.
Beside this, DMRC has introduced a registration parking scheme for its regular commuters. Monthly parking passes would be issued to commuters at some Metro stations from September 1. “Under this scheme, any regular commuter using Smart Card will be issued a monthly parking pass,” said a DMRC spokesperson.
A parking pass would be issued by the DMRC upon submission of a request letter with the copies of driving license, registration certificate and smart card at the stations for verification.
The revision will be effected at 18 metro stations, such as Dilshad Garden, Shahdara, Inder Lok, Rohini West, Rithala, Patel Chowk and RK Ashram, among others.
