Simran started painting at the age of five. A graduate in History (Hons.), Simran believes that her history background helped her understand Delhi monuments, which are now an integral part of her paintings. She has an ongoing show in the Capital where she is displaying five of her paintings. Simran also has an accessories label called Jhumka.

“It all started out of my love for earrings. As a kid whenever we used to travel I had a fascination for collecting earrings. I think an earning is a great accessory and it adds omph to an outfit.” Started two years back, Jhumka works with unprivileged women and designers to create fashionable traditional earnings.
