Tuesday morning came as a cool relief for residents of the Capital as a cloud cover and a breeze greeted them.

The maximum temperature of the day was recorded at 32.8 degrees, six degrees below normal for this time of the year and 8.8 degree below Monday’s 41.6 degrees. The minimum temperature was 29.2 degrees, which is a degree above normal.
“Though it didn’t rain anywhere in Delhi and the NCR, it was a primarily cloudy day because of cyclonic circulations. It will continue to be like this for the next couple of days,” a Met department official said.
“The maximum dip in mercury was recorded at Delhi University which recorded 30.7 degrees,” he said.
The maximum and minimum humidity were recorded at 52% and 73% respectively.
The temperature on Wednesday is expected to hover between 35 and 28 degrees and partly cloudy sky with rainfall/thundershower, the official said.
