Rahul Gandhi among new trustees of Jawahar Bhavan Trust

Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi has become one of the trustees of Jawahar Bhavan Trust, which carries out philanthropic activities and distributes scholarships and awards in the name of India's first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru.

Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi has become one of the trustees of Jawahar Bhavan Trust, which carries out philanthropic activities and distributes scholarships and awards in the name of India's first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru.

The trust will also have two more new members --- AICC Treasurer Motilal Vora and Union Minister Mukul Wasnik. Senior leaders Arjun Singh, Makhanlal Fotedar and Mohsina Kidwai make way for the new members.

Vora becomes the new Secretary of the Trust in place of Ahmed Patel, who will continue to be a trustee.

Highly placed sources in the Congress said that such changes are made once in every three years and it is a routine reshuffle.
