Rain gives Delhi the miss again

The Monsoon played hide and seek with the Capital as it went without rain for two days at a stretch. Friday and Saturday proved to be hot, humid and rainless.

The Monsoon played hide and seek with the Capital as it went without rain for two days at a stretch. Friday and Saturday proved to be hot, humid and rainless.

The maximum temperature on Saturday was 38.7 degrees, three degrees above normal, while the minimum was 30.5 degrees, four degrees above normal.

"The monsoon in Delhi has become a little weak but it is normal. Some rainfall is expected the coming week," said B.P. Yadav, director, Weather Forecast, India Meteorological Department.
